Each winter, Rebel Energy is partnering with Charis Grants Limited on their Let’s Talk Energy Fund.
This fund offers free replacement energy efficient appliances to households in England, Scotland and Wales who are struggling to pay their energy bills.
To be eligible, you must receive one of the following:
- Pension Credit
- Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
- Income-related Jobseekers Allowance
- Income Support
- Universal Credit
- Child Tax Credit
- Working Tax Credit
- Housing Benefit
Or,
- Your gross annual household income must be less than the qualifying maximum (click the link for details)

There are a range of appliances available including freestanding fridge freezers, gas and electric cookers and washing machines.
Simply fill out the application form to be considered for the scheme. Charis will review your application and be in touch directly to confirm if you’ve been successful, or if they need more information from you.
If your application is accepted, delivery of your new appliance will be arranged within 8-10 weeks. Charis will also remove your old appliance for you. Easy!
